Coon hunting[edit]

  • ... that the hounds used for coon hunting are considered to be either "hot-nosed" or "cold-nosed"? Source: Reference 6 in article
    • ALT1:... that coon hunting dogs can emit as many as 150 barks per minute? Source: Ref 12
  • Reviewed: Deseret alphabet (that was a couple months ago, but QPQs don't expire, do they?)
  • Comment: If anybody wants to suggest a better hook, then feel free. I thought those two were pretty neat, but there are a lot of cool facts in the article. White Arabian Filly Neigh 21:55, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

  • My review (article has already reached GA status, so this should be quick and painless!):
    • New - promoted to GA 2 days ago
    • Long enough - 11888 characters. Yep, over 1500!
    • Within policy - Article is at GA status and according to the requirements to reach GA, the article must by definition have those qualities. However I have read it myself and have independently assessed that it's written neutrally. Earwig's Copyvio Detector picked up a rating of "Violation Unlikely - 2.9%".
    • Hook format - both fine.
    • Hook content - Both fine. My personal preference is ALT1.
    • QPQ - I don't believe they expire. At least I hope not, as I too brought out a month-old QPQ for a recent DYK. :D
    • Images - N/A
