Improved to Good Article status by Maury Markowitz (talk). Self-nominated at 21:21, 2 December 2016 (UTC).

  • Promoted to GA within last 24 hours. Article is of appropriate length. Hook is of appropriate length and is interesting. Hook and article are NPOV. Primary hook is directly sourced to the Los Angeles Times which is RS; Alt-1 is sourced to a primary source, a brochure, which is probably RS for a non-controversial assertion like the unit's dimensions (simple math has to be applied as the article doesn't directly say it's a cube, but that's okay). I had difficulty finding the Alt-2 hook, Maury Markowitz; if it's there and I just didn't see it, I apologize; feel free to ping me and I'll update this review accordingly if you really want that one. No obvious copyvio or close paraphrasing. QPQ is done. Image is PD. All other policies met. GTG on primary hook and Alt-1 hook. LavaBaron (talk) 01:21, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
I'm perfectly happy with 0 or 1, and it seems you prefer 0, so let's roll with that. Any concerns about the Cray...Seymore Cray... Cray-3? Perhaps remove one? Maury Markowitz (talk) 18:25, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Great! Alt-0 GTG!!! "Bulletproof" LavaBaron (Survivor of 4 DYK TBAN Attempts) (talk) 08:59, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
  • @Maury Markowitz and LavaBaron: I was going to promote this, but find that Seymour Cray was investing in the chipmaker rather than buying it outright. Anyway, the source states this a proposed investment rather than a done deal, so you would need another source to demonstrate that the deal had gone ahead. ALT1 is probably OK but needs formal approval before it can be promoted. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:13, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
Thank you, Cwmhiraeth, good catch. Alt-1 is approved. LavaBaron (talk) 17:26, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
