It's been over a month since that review and comment, so I'm closing the nomination as unsuccessful.

  • Again, the organization of this article is questionable and the content rather threadbare for an article of this type. For example, why do we need a "crimes against foreigners" section in these articles, is there any evidence that foreigners are singled out for particular types of crimes? And what about crimes committed against the citizens? Gatoclass (talk) 17:38, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
  • The hook says the motorcyclist was killed by police, but the BBC article only says that his partner was told that he had died in custody ("The report comes in the wake of a high-profile case in which a man arrested for riding a motorbike without a helmet died in police custody. Nguyen Van Khuong, 21, was stopped by traffic police in Bac Giang on 23 July and taken in for questioning. A few hours later his girlfriend, who was waiting outside, was told he had died.") This goes closer to supporting the claim but I suggest the original HRC report should be consulted to see if it does support a claim of death by police beating. Also, this hook is very negative, I'm not sure it is appropriate. EdChem (talk) 09:37, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that one source estimates there to be 20,000 to 30,000 prostitutes in Vietnam? ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 11:00, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
  • After Gatoclass's review that said the organization was "questionable" and the contents "rather threadbare", the only edit made was after EdChem's comment, to add the word "reportedly". It's been over a month since that review and comment, so I'm closing the nomination as unsuccessful. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:07, 20 July 2013 (UTC)
