Crostata

[edit]
  • ... that in his 1570 cookbook Opera dell'arte del cucinare, Bartolomeo Scappi included a recipe for crostata using "the viscera of any sort of turtle"?

  • Article has been expanded more than 5x today and is long enough and well-sourced. Hook is properly formatted, short enough, interesting enough and referenced albeit offline. There are some minor formatting issues in the article I will fix myself. This is my first DYK review. HelenOnline (talk) 16:45, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
I've found a reprinting of the hook source on Google Books. (The printing I used was different, as you can glean from the page numbering.) Enter the terms "209 crostata" in the search field, which will highlight two pages with the relevant info (the recipe, and an index entry). Mindmatrix 17:15, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, I have cited it in the article for the benefit of other readers. HelenOnline (talk) 17:58, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
