Cyclone Amara[edit]

Intense Tropical Cyclone Amara near the island of Rodrigues on December 21, 2013

Created by TheAustinMan (talk). Nominated by Tentinator (talk) at 12:55, 25 December 2013 (UTC).

  • DYK hook checked, size and creation date checked, general format appears fine, checked and passed for copyvio. --benlisquareTCE 01:25, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Review didn't contain an final result icon, so this needs to be looked at again. In particular, the so-called "Copyvio check" is not sufficient to check for close paraphrasing; recommend using Duplication detector in a spot-check against sources. Finally, the hook's "resulted in" is an odd locution; why not just say "caused"? BlueMoonset (talk) 18:02, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough and long enough, and has passed GA review recently. Hook is verified with inline reference. Changed "resulted in" to "caused" in hook per BlueMoonset. Good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 06:27, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
