Dadia Forest[edit]

  • ... that Dadia Forest is renowned for its birds of prey, with 36 of the 38 diurnal European species of raptor having been recorded here? "An extraordinary total of 36 diurnal birds of prey have been recorded here (out of 38 in Europe)."
    • ALT1:... that Dadia is the only European forest where four species of vulture can be found? "It is the only forest in Europe where all four European vultures occur, black, griffon, Egyptian and bearded."
