Dareka no Manazashi[edit]

Created by Maky (talk). Self nominated at 11:43, 8 October 2014 (UTC).

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The several facts in the hook are all sourced with inline citations. The article is neutral and I saw no close paraphrasing/copyright issues in the English language sources I inspected. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:53, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

I've pulled this from the prep for several reasons. The seven-minute length is mentioned (and not sourced) only in the infobox, OVA is not mentioned anywhere in the article, and the source for screening with the other film doesn't look like a reliable source to me. @Maky and Cwmhiraeth: HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:40, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

@HJ Mitchell: The film length was already mentioned and sourced in the body ("The short film is 6 minutes 40 seconds in length"), though I just changed to the best source and adjusted it by 5 seconds. The infobox says 7 minutes because Wikiproject members insisted that we round to the nearest minute. I changed OVA to ONA, which should be right—thanks for catching that. As for the source, it seems to me like a German news site for anime, not much different from many of the English sites primarily used for the article (but without the ads). The only thing that's unfortunate about it is its small link to Amazon—something which probably helps fund the site given the lack of ads. I'm inclined to say that it's reliable. You're welcome to ask for opinions on the Wikiproject for anime... but I can't guarantee a reply. – Maky « talk » 15:11, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
Fixed the infobox again. It appears that it does qualify as a "film". – Maky « talk » 21:41, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
@HJ Mitchell:I've run the source by WikiProject Anime and manga, and it seems to be fine. Let me know if there are any other concerns. – Maky « talk » 17:22, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
Is anyone able to recheck this aging nomination? Again, the issues mentioned above were either non-issues or corrected. A discussion of the sources (which checked out) can be found here, though it may get archived very soon. – Maky « talk » 21:44, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
Also, the other film mentioned in the hook is also now up for DYK review. They could be combined, though I favor keeping them separate as noted on the other nomination. – Maky « talk » 22:08, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
Above issues have been addressed and the article has been well expanded.[1] If I have missed something, I guess we can still wait for a couple of days, otherwise it is good to go. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 04:30, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
