Dena Vane-Kirkman[edit]

  • ... that when magazine editor Dena Vane-Kirkman was robbed at gunpoint by a burglar, she told him "Your mother would be ashamed of you"?
    • ALT1:... that ...?

  • The article, while new and long enough, has a few issues. The red links are a bit of an eyesore. I would shorten the lead to, "Dena Lesley Vane-Kirkman (1 May 1944 – 19 October 2018) was a British magazine editor, best known for her work on Woman's World in New York in the 1980s". There's also the troubling fact that hardly any results turn up for "Dena Vane-Kirkman" on internet searches. There's the Times obituary (behind a pay wall) and then this article. That's pretty much it. There's this notice for her funeral, which is cited in the article. Clearly not a reliable source. Sorry but I highly doubt she meets notability criteria. - HappyWaldo (talk) 22:38, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
The Times gave her a full page obituary, they don't do that for everyone, and the other sources (Dena Vane) are in journals such as Marketing, many of which are offline or behind paywalls too because they are recent. I will find some more and add them. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:15, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
I don't have time to do this now as I am doing medical articles at present. I am happy to let it lapse. I will add the other sources later when I have time. Philafrenzy (talk) 11:41, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
