Created by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self nominated at 22:20, 11 February 2014 (UTC).

  • The following has been checked in this review by Matty.007
  • QPQ taken care of
  • Article created by Gerda Arendton 9 February 2014, and has 4926 characters of readable prose
  • Every paragraph is sourced, AGF on foreign refs
  • Is there no neater way of presenting all the writers? Perhaps a hidden table or somesuch?
  • Dup det found no copyvios
  • Article is neutral
  • I think image is free to use on the Main Page, but am not 100%. It isn't the most interesting, so would you object to removing it?
  • Hook is interesting and well sourced, though would suggest "that in 50 years, Diogenes (logo pictured) published". Not sure about having the three names on the end. What do you think Gerda?
  • A couple of queries. Thanks, Matty.007 17:19, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
  • The list of authors is exactly as in German. I could use the interwiki-link, to show that even the red links are notable enough for an article in German. It's an invitation to write the missing articles and should not be hidden. - No need to remove the picture, it will probably simply not be taken, as most suggested pictures. - The authors are best-selling people (wo write in English), which might attract readers who are not interested in the rest. Resulting in a tweaked and a quirky:
ALT1: ... that in 50 years, Diogenes published more than 3,400 books by 700 authors including Patricia Highsmith, John Irving and Paulo Coelho?
ALT2: ... that Diogenes published more than 3,400 books by 700 authors in 50 years? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:39, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
I was only talking about removing the image from the nom. Sorry, book numbers needs ref after it, as does Irving, and Coelho. Thanks, Matty.007 17:49, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
I was also talking about the image here, - no need to remove it. I doubled the ref, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:09, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
I sourced the other issue, so all hooks are good to go, AGF on foreign refs. Please promote without image. Thanks, Matty.007 08:37, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
