Dioryctria sylvestrella[edit]

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self-nominated at 06:40, 8 June 2019 (UTC).

  • 5x expanded, in time, long enough, sourced, no apparent copyvios, QPQ done. Cwmhiraeth, the hook generally accords with the source (it "is one of the important pests of pine plantations"), although I think "most" should be dropped. What is the source for the line in the article that "maritime pine [is] an important plantation crop of the Mediterranean region"? --Usernameunique (talk) 19:09, 16 June 2019 (UTC)
@Usernameunique: Thank you for the review. I have added a reference to the article and substituted ALT1 for the original hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:08, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
All set now. --Usernameunique (talk) 05:12, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
  • Concerning word choice in the hook, I wonder if a less ambiguous word than "important" would help give readers more clarity. Because the way it is worded, it is almost like infestations are a good thing, which I would very much imagine they are not. 47.185.218.146 (talk) 03:04, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
I have suggested ALT2 to address your concerns. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:38, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
