Don't Look Now (It Ain't You or Me)[edit]
- ... that while John Fogerty shared many of the political concerns of the hippie generation, the political content of the lyrics he wrote for the Creedence Clearwater Revival song "Don't Look Now (It Ain't You or Me)" was critical of hippie attitudes? "There were things going on in the country that upset me," John says, "but having grown up in the 'hippie' generation there were a lot of things about my own generation that upset me as well. - The song title is long, which makes the length a little challenging, and the band's name is also long, which complicates things more, especially since the hook relies on setting some context. If we can live with a hook slightly longer than 200 characters, then ALT1 should work. If we really need to stick to 200 characters then ALT2 should work, although in my opinion getting the band name in is worth the extra characters.
