Double Rainbow (song)[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by Prism (talk). Self nominated at 11:34, 11 January 2014 (UTC).

  • new enough, long enough, good 2 go.--BabbaQ (talk) 16:49, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
  • BabbaQ, this is not sufficient as a review: you've only checked two things: newness and size of expansion. There's far more to reviewing than that. I remind you that per T:TDYK#How to review a nomination, reviews should begin with one of the 5 review symbols that appear at the top of the edit screen, and then indicate all aspects of the article that you have reviewed. A full review is needed if you wish to claim QPQ credit for it. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:42, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
  • I should also point out that the article does not meet the WP:NSONG criteria for notability—oddly, notability is not a criterion for good articles (though it is for articles in general). DYK addresses the matter obliquely, though it does indicate that the article should meet general notability guidelines. At the moment, another DYK-nominated article, for the Katy Perry song Choose Your Battles, has been nominated by me for AfD for not meeting notability for a song for these same reasons. I have just noticed this DYK nomination, and as the articles have similar structures and sourcing and neither song is a single, I was thinking that the outcome of the one would indicate whether this article is likely to survive, so we could hold off on giving it a final icon until then. If preferred, however, I will formally open an AfD on it. Please let me know. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:59, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
  • After reviewing it again. I agree with you.--BabbaQ (talk) 10:24, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Full review needed by new reviewer; the AfD on Choose Your Battles was closed as Keep, so no point in starting one on this article. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:50, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Article is long enough and was expanded in time. However, I have a problem with the hook, as I don't think the pop culture website "Idolator" is a reliable source. static shakedown ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ 11:52, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
It is used in many GAs, a lot of them actually. prism 12:08, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Oh okay, I didn't know that. The song does not necessarily have anything to do with the viral video...but if that's not a problem, then it seems good to go. No need for QPQ yet and no copyvio problems that I am aware of. static shakedown ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ 14:20, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
