Elizabeth Potts[edit]

  • Long enough, new enough, adequately sourced, and the interesting hook is supported by the reference cited in the lead. However, some of the article's wording seems too similar to the source, starting with the hook fact: "Elizabeth was the first and last woman legally executed in Nevada" in the article, versus "Elizabeth Potts was the first and last woman legally executed in Nevada" in the source. Additional writing attention is needed before this goes to the main page. --Orlady (talk) 04:59, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
  • I no longer have concerns about closeness to the sources, but I have done a lot of work on the article (and may still do more) and I no longer consider myself qualified to review it. However, I do wonder about the inclusion of details in the hook. I suggest that the hook should simply say this:
