Elmaamul[edit]

Created by Tigerboy1966 (talk). Nominated by Tentinator (talk) at 16:34, 17 December 2013 (UTC).

:* The following has been checked in this review by Matty.007

  • QPQ not needed as it isn't a self nomination
  • Article created by Tigerboy1966 on 15 December 2013, and has 5123 characters of readable prose
  • Every paragraph is sourced, albeit some a little sparsely, but I think given the subject of the article this is acceptable
  • In the lead, "After winning both of his races as a two-year-old he improved to become one of the leading British-trained three-year-olds in 1990". Perhaps rather than 'improved', 'became'?
  • In 'background', " He was one of the best horses sired by Diesis, the top-rated European two-year-old of his generation" should perhaps be " He was one of the most successful horses sired by Diesis, the top-rated European two-year-old of his generation".
  • Earwig @ Toolserver found no copyvios
  • Hook is interesting and well sourced (perhaps amount in £?)
  • Summary: I would like a reply to the couple of wording questions, but otherwise I think that this is good. Thanks, Matty.007 18:22, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
I made the wording and hook changes you suggested.   Tentinator   09:46, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
