  • ... that the bat fly Enischnomyia (pictured) is fossilized with Vetufebrus malaria in its gut? Source:Poinar, 2014 "Enischnomyia stegosoma (Figure 47) [98, 99]. Two ovoid oocysts of Vetufebrus ovatus attached to the midgut wall of the bat fly contained short, stubby sporozoites" Plus Figs 47 and 48
  • Reviewed: Mount Oku rat
  • Comment: While the type descriptions of the two genera (Poinar 2011; Poinar & Brown, 2012) don't mention each other by name, the type specimen number is the same, and the association was specifically discussed by Poinar 2014

Created/expanded by Kevmin (talk) and DrMicro (talk). Nominated by Kevmin (talk) at 17:40, 11 July 2019 (UTC).

Note: I've removed the credits for DrMicro, who created Vetufebrus in 2011 but hasn't edited the page in seven years, and made no edits to Enischnomyia at all. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 20:57, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Interesting articles and hook! Both articles are new enough and long enough. Hook is supported with multiple sources. No copyvio issues. QPQ is done (a two-article hook). Image is freely licensed. However, the "description" section of Enischnomyia is completely unsourced. -Zanhe (talk) 22:04, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
  • @Zanhe: Fixed, citations added to the description section.--Kevmin § 23:45, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Thanks, good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 04:11, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
