European Parliament election, 2014 (Denmark)

[edit]

5x expanded by Iselilja (talk), AB-me (talk). Nominated by Iselilja (talk) at 22:57, 1 June 2014 (UTC).

  • New enough (expanded 27 May, nominated 1 June) and long enough. QPQ OK. Article image is free. Hook is acceptable and checks out online with citation #2. Text is written in an objective and neutral manner. No problem with disambig links or with access to online links. Issues: (1) Two paragraphs are not cited. (2) Re copyvio and close paraphrasing: Duplicated text is: "to encourage young people to vote" (citation #1). This could be quickly resolved by putting quote marks around it and citing it. When these two issues are resolved, this nom will be good to go. --Storye book (talk) 15:50, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
Note: Reassessment on the Talk Page, or no assessment at all, but DYK cannot be a stub. Removing the Stub rating and leaving it "unassessed" is fine. — Maile (talk) 21:22, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the review. I am going to expand the article today/tomorrow and hopefully polish it a bit. I ran in to a sourcing problem when I initially was writing it, because I used up all my "free articles" from two of the newspapers, but now I should have a new quota, so I can add some more sources. And I'll fix the talk page. Regards, Iselilja (talk) 21:31, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
Just verifying here that the Stub was removed, so that part is fine.— Maile (talk) 22:39, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Thank for the heads-up on the stub, Maile. Issue (1) is now resolved; all paragraphs are cited. Issue (2) is not yet resolved. --Storye book (talk) 07:33, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
Sorry for being late. I changed the sentence to "an effort to motivate young people to take part in the election if that's ok? I am not so fond of using quotation marks for basic information that isn't typically quotes. But 'll of course put it in quotation marks if you think it's necessary. (I see it's not ideal to nominate articles that aren't fully finished when I nominate them. I'll have a summer holiday now and when I come back have articles fully prepared before I eventually nominate them for DYK). Regards, Iselilja (talk) 23:17, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Thank you, Iselilja. I agree with your comments about quotation marks. And no worries - no WP article is ever really fully-finished, and DYK is a continual learning process for all of us, me included. Enjoy your holiday! --Storye book (talk) 09:31, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
  • All issues now resolved. Good to go. --Storye book (talk) 09:31, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
