Father, Son, and Holy War
[edit]- ... that the 1995 documentary Father, Son, and Holy War was screened by the Indian public broadcaster Doordarshan only after an 11-year court battle that ended with a 2006 order by the Supreme Court of India that it be screened?

- ALT1 ... that after an 11-year legal battle, Indian public broadcaster Doordarshan screened the 1995 documentary Father, Son, and Holy War by order of the Supreme Court of India? EEng (talk) 04:35, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
- The article meets the length and age criteria. Written in dispassionate tone, the article uses at least one inline citation per para. No plagiarism detected. QPQ not needed as the nominator has only 3 DYK credits. The given source says that the Supreme Court of India "ordered Doordarshan to telecast the film." A source is needed to support the statement that Doordarshan "screened it". This requirement might look creepy but we can't claim that it was screened by the channel without adding a source. The first line under "Reception" section states that the film was released in 1994 but the given source states that it was completed in 1994. Once these two issues are resolved I will pass this nomination.--Skr15081997 (talk) 14:20, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
