- – I hope I'm putting the right thing in the right place (I don't know my way round DYK very well). Please excuse if not. I support the nomination with enthusiasm, but I think it might be clearer to the casual reader if we said "Verdi's Falstaff" rather than just "Falstaff". Tim riley talk 22:31, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- there's an ongoing debate in DYK about whether hooks should be fully informative (and therefore maybe risking being dull and/or ignored) or enigmatic and therefore more likely to catch the reader's attention and make him/her click. I belong to the latter camp and am therefore happy with the hook the way it is, unless there are strong objections. - Smerus (talk) 08:23, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for your support, a second approval doesn't hurt, but is not needed. I concur with Smerus that more people will click Falstaff when it doesn't say "Verdi's Falstaff" in which case they may think, "Ah, we know already". --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:44, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
