First Church in Albany (Reformed)

[edit]

View of the church from across North Pearl Street

5x expanded by Daniel Case (talk). Self nominated at 03:48, 25 February 2013 (UTC).

Good expansion, good sources! The picture is free and good. Minor questions: the hook is sourced to the church's website, which says that the 300th anniversary and the visit of Wilhelmina happened in 1942, but not that she attended the services. - I don't understand "Five years later the church was formally incorporated itself, as the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church in the City of Albany." - I would prefer to see the bolding for redirect South Dutch Church in the lead. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:19, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Sorry to be so delayed in responding, Gerda—unusually, I've got a lot of hooks in the queue so I don't have just this one to focus on for once.

I have reworded the hook to be more in accord with the source and will appropriately edit the article. Thanks. Daniel Case (talk) 18:08, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

(next time, please write an ALT, to keep the history od the discussion. - I still don't know what "was formally incorporated itself" is supposed to mean.) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:55, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
