Flag of Akrotiri and Dhekelia[edit]
... that the Flag of Akrotiri and Dhekelia (pictured) means that Akrotiri and Dhekelia is the only British Territory without a unique flag?

- The article is new, long and within policy. Inline citations cover most of the article. All external links are working.
- The hook is appropriately concise, neutral and interesting.
- All the images are free without any copyright restrictions.

- Date and length ok. But the hook sentence is a bit weird, a better ALT1 would be

Agree that the original hook's wording doesn't work. ALT1 is better, but "Akrotiri and Dhekleia" cannot be linked: DYK rules don't allow red links in hooks. I've struck them both; how about:
- ALT2: ... that as the only British Overseas Territory without its own unique flag, Akrotiri and Dhekleia uses the Union Jack (pictured)? —BlueMoonset (talk) 07:01, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
