Created by Facing the Sky (talk). Nominated by Innotata (talk) at 05:14, 20 October 2014 (UTC).

  • Sorry, this is wrong as stated—I misread the source and I've since corrected it. He didn't invent amatol; it was a German invention that he was tasked with catching up with, primarily through his expertise in manufacturing ammonium nitrate. Facing the Sky (talk) 19:19, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks for correcting the article. I've rephrased the hook. (Anyway, my impression from reading the article earlier was that amatol was the German invention he was catching up with.) —innotata 19:38, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
  • Full review needed now that creator and nominator have addressed issues. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:49, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts have inline citations to offline sources and are accepted in good faith. The article is neutral. I was unable to assess it for copyright violations because of having no access to the sources. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:21, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
