Morse in 1939

... that the French submarine Narval sank after hitting the same minefield that sank its sister ship Morse (pictured) six months earlier? Good to go. I had the same problem myself on some articles. It was caused by building them in the User space, where the categories counted as prose. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 21:40, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
@L293D and Hawkeye7: According to the info boxes, Morse sank in June 1940 and Narval in December 1940. If this is correct, the text of each article needs attention, because they have got the later/prior mixed up. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:31, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I came by to promote this, but have two questions. Where are you getting the June 16, 1940 date? One source says the wreckage was spotted on that date, while another says it sank on June 15. Also, why are you rating these C-class? Aside from the images in Morse, there isn't much copy here. Yoninah (talk) 22:22, 15 December 2018 (UTC)

@Yoninah: I get the June 16 date from Fontenoy, Paul E. (2007). Submarines: An Illustrated History of Their Impact. ABC-CLIO. ISBN 9781851095636., as well as from https://uboat.net/allies/warships/ship/6078.html , http://www.netmarine.net/bat/smarins/morse/ancien.htm , http://www.navypedia.org/ships/france/fr_ss_requin.htm , https://www.battleships-cruisers.co.uk/requin_class.htm . All of the article's references confirm the loss date except for one that does not have any information about the sinking. As to why I am rating these as C, per WP:MHA#SCALE, articles that are reasonably structured and contains substantial content and supporting materials, but may still be incomplete or poorly referenced, but not both can be assessed as C.
