Gaboimilla[edit]

  • Reviewed: To follow

Created by Dumelow (talk). Self-nominated at 13:14, 19 April 2018 (UTC).

  • Article is new, long enough, sourced and appropriately cited and looks free of copyvio/plagiarism. The hooks are interesting and cited in the article. All that is required is the completion of the QPQ review. Gatoclass (talk) 13:07, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
Hi Gatoclass, thanks for your review. I have now carried out a QPQ at Template:Did you know nominations/Cacopsylla pyricola - Dumelow (talk) 08:39, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
  • I was a little concerned, after re-reading the article, that two of the sources describe the location of the kingdom as "south of Chile" - all the more puzzling given that there is nothing on the South American continent "South of Chile". However, the other sources all refer to the subject as a Chilean figure, and it seems the apparent discrepancy is due to the fact that Chile was a growing province of Spain at the time of the aforesaid reports and not the same entity as the modern state. The QPQ has been satisfactorily completed so all DYK requirements for this nomination are met. Both hooks are good and I have no preference so the selection can be left to the promoter.
