Gary Con[edit]

Created by BusterD (talk). Self nominated at 18:48, 27 December 2013 (UTC).

  • I'm aware that at this exact moment the page doesn't have 1500 characters, but I'll be building and citing more the next few days. The hook itself is well cited, by book and by online Forbes source (same author). Also the hook is 196 characters, so I might be able to trim that up a bit as well. BusterD (talk) 18:55, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
  • At 927 bytes, this article is too short to qualify for DYK. The creator has not edited it since the day it was created, December 27th. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:17, 16 January 2014 (UTC)
  • I totally spaced about this DYK. I can get to this tonight and do the necessary expansion in the next 12 hours or so. If this doesn't work, it's on me. BusterD (talk) 20:44, 18 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Size should be sufficient now. One self-published source (Matt Forbeck), but he's a well-known figure in the subject matter and his cite isn't being used to support the hook. BusterD (talk) 15:11, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
  • Full review needed; DYKcheck reports the article has 1720 prose characters. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:06, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
  • New article of sufficient length, adequately cited including an online blog article by Black Gate Magazine which verifies the facts in the hook. I can't see anything else holding this nomination back. Good to go! Sionk (talk) 02:59, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
