Ghost Child

[edit]

Chen Hanwei

Created by Bonkers The Clown (talk). Self nominated at 06:49, 8 March 2013 (UTC).

  • Created on 7 March, has more than 1550 characters, plot section does not necessarily need citation (but see if you can collect one from recent newspaper reviews etc), hook properly sourced. But, the image might be a copyvio ! --Tito Dutta (contact) 05:27, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
Erm, I clicked on the link and all I got was Google's homepage. The photo was not taken by me, it's someone else's. If it really is a copyvio, give me an actual link and I will take the appropriate actions. Cheers, ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 11:39, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Yes, that's reverse image search. In that page you'll find only those results bfore April 2011 (upload date of your photo). --Tito Dutta (contact) 12:40, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
  • Huh? Sorry, but I'm not following. Maybe it's because of a long day at school... Anyway, could you just tell me the results? How is it a copyvio? And it's not my photo. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 12:53, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
  • That shows the same image was uploaded to multiple sites before its uploading at Wikipedia. So, chances are its not their original work! --Tito Dutta (contact) 13:06, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
  • My rather thorough searches show that this image is unique and found ONLY on commons.... Please provide the links for the purported "multiple sites" the same image was posted to before April 2011. Thanks. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 13:14, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
  • There are some FB links. I am not sure if al are those are mirrors of Wikipedia and why it is being shown as "before April 2011"! --Tito Dutta (contact) 13:22, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
  • You know, that doesn't make any sense. Google has failed. This picture depicts Chen Hanwei at the Star Awards 2011 ceremony... Which was held in April 2011, and thus it is impossible for a photo of him at the ceremony being published any earlier than [17] April 2011 (ceremony date). Most likely a mirror site with wrong date tags. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 13:28, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
