Gimme Hope Jo'anna

  • ... that the anti-apartheid anthem "Gimme Hope Jo'anna" was "bastardised" by being adapted as a yoghurt advert song called "Gimme Yop, Me Mama"? Source: Telegraph

  • Hi The C of E, review follows: more than 5x expansion from 4 July; article is appropriately cited inline and well written; I'm not massively familiar with music sourcing but from a spot check on the citations they appear to be reliable in their field; I didn't find any overly close paraphrasing in my spot check; Hook is interesting, mentioned in the article and checks out to the Telegraph (you might want to attribute the quote in the article though); a QPQ has been carried out. No problems here, I think - Dumelow (talk) 07:36, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
