Gotthold Schwarz[edit]

  • ... that Gotthold Schwarz, a former member of the Thomanerchor, has been its vocal coach since 1979, a bass soloist in Bach cantata recordings with the boys' choir, and several times its interim conductor?

Created/expanded by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Gerda Arendt (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 17:30, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Hook: Short enough, interesting. Not in article (no "boys' choir", for example)
Article: New enough, long enough, well referenced. AGF on German sources.
Summary: Hold for referencing issue. Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:38, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
The boys' choir exists for 800 years now, I took it for granted that it is known but will specify. The other items are separate entries, will try to clarify. Give me some time, please, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:59, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Now I referenced the choir tradition and the recordings (they are all on the bottom of ref BC but a bit hard to follow, agreed). Do I have to source Bach also?
ALT1: ... that Gotthold Schwarz has been connected with the Thomanerchor, Leipzig's boys choir with a tradition of 800 years, in many ways: as a member, a vocal coach since 1979, a bass soloist and an interim conductor? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:17, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Good to go. AGF on German source. Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:49, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
