Greater London Group[edit]

Created by Wasted Time R (talk). Self-nominated at 13:25, 2 February 2019 (UTC).

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are sourced inline, the article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:23, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't find the hook so interesting because I don't know what the Greater London Council is. Perhaps you could add more detail, or suggest something more colorful? Yoninah (talk) 22:29, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: Hmm, there isn't anything colorful in this article, but a more general explanation of the group's import would be:
ALT1: ... that the Greater London Group, a research centre of academics at the London School of Economics, played a major role in the reformation of the structure of London government in the 1960s?
The interest being that it's unusual for academics to have this level of effect. Wasted Time R (talk) 23:17, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
  • Thank you, that sounds a lot better. I also like the sharpness of the language in the hook. The source is offline for me, so I'll AGF. ALT1 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:27, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
