Halvor J. Sandsdalen, Dyrsku'n[edit]

Created by Oceanh (talk). Self nominated at 11:48, 23 April 2013 (UTC).

  • Long and new enough, properly sourced, no copyvio concerns. Photo ok (and connected to the hook). The hook is short enough and gives good meaning to Norwegian readers; however with "Dyrskuplassen" not beeing explained in the article or having an article of it's own, the point may not be fully understood by other readers. I would recommend that an article for Dyrsku'n (agricultural show) was made, to which Dyrskueplassen could be linked. (The source for the hook is not online, so it would be an AGF hook).
  • Thank you for the review. I am currently on travel, with only smartphone net access. Will soon be back and follow this up.Oceanh (talk) 16:08, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
  • I have written an article for Dyrsku'n as suggested, and added it to the nomination. Needs another QPQ review then, and maybe some tuning of the hook. Oceanh (talk) 13:43, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Great. You made another DYK article. I am not quite familiar with the hook rules for double DYKs, so I asked at the guideline talk page. I wonder if it now needs two different interesting points, with different citations in each article? I'll review the new article as soon as possible. • I reviewed the required second hook/article. Have also become uncertain of the picture license (a possible contradiction with what I noticed here, although I am not an expert). To be on the safe side, I therefore removed the picture from the hook. Oceanh (talk) 10:58, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
  • Unfortunately, I think you are right about the photo. I mentioned it at Commons now and they have tagged it for deletion for copyright violations.
  • Both articles, Halvor J. Sandsdalen and Dyrsku'n are long enough, new enough and no copyrigh concerns. Properly sourced in Norwegian which I understand, allthough the hook fact is based on a off-line source that I have not checked, but no reason to doubt it. Iselilja (talk) 19:22, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
