New enough and long enough. The last sentence referencing a column in The Forward lacks an in-line citation. It would be helpful to clarify that Mazzig wrote the column in The Forward first, to give context to why he received criticism from both sides of the political spectrum. I'm unsure of using the term "the right and the left," although it's the same wording that the sources use. If you clarify what exactly he is criticizing, then it will be easier to clarify who is reacting to his criticism.- There isn't much information about the protest to his speaking--would it be appropriate to include more details about what the protesters were protesting, exactly? I don't have experience writing about Israeli activists--my best experience with controversial subjects comes from writing about Mormon history. I know that sometimes "anti" publications have a point, and sometimes they're not worth citing. I found this article from Washington University about the protest. Do you think it would be worth citing to explain more of the context surrounding the protest?
- As for the hooks, they are both backed by sources and are technically accurate. Maybe leaving the first hook a bit vague adds interest to the hook. I approve the first hook. I think the second hook should be reworded to something like
- ALT2 ... that when Hen Mazzig witnessed the Palestinian suicide bombing of a grandmother and her granddaughter at age twelve, it inspired him to join the Israeli Defense Force?

- @Rachel Helps (BYU): The nominator hasn't edited the article since prior to nominating it, and hasn't been on-Wiki in over two weeks. In any case they never responded to your comments.
