Henry Adams Thompson
[edit]- ... that math professor Henry Adams Thompson ran for office several times, including for Vice President of the United States in 1880, but never won?

- This article is a five-fold expansion and is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain and the article is neutral, but I was unable to check for copyright issues because of lack of access to the sources. I think you may have used the word "seven" in the hook when you intended to use the word "several"? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:27, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- "Several" is probably better. His first election was for the remaining term of a congressman and a full term in the next Congress. Since they were conducted at the same time, whether that makes the total seven or eight is hard to say. I changed the hook. --Coemgenus (talk) 13:43, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
- The hook has been suitably amended and this is ready to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:53, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
