High Street (IND Eighth Avenue Line)

[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by Epicgenius (talk), Tdorante10 (talk), and Kew Gardens 613 (talk). Nominated by Epicgenius (talk) at 15:28, 1 July 2016 (UTC).

  • Raised recently to GA status. Long enough, neutral, well-cited. No apparent issues of paraphrase or copyvio.
  • Hook OK for length, cited, and is catchy enough. I am just a bit chary about the wording - just calling it 'low' begs the question as to whether it is notable for being low, e.g. lower than other stations - which we are not told. So better might be "70 ft. low" which is unarguable and clearly and specifically cited.
  • QPQ awaited.
  • Think about the hook? - Smerus (talk) 14:44, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that High Street is actually 70 feet (21 m) below ground?
  • I greatly prefer Alt1, and would recommend promotion on that basis when you have completed the QPQ. Best, - Smerus (talk) 14:11, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
    • GTG with ALT1. - Smerus (talk) 10:44, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
