Hildegarde's tomb bat, Hildegarde's broad-headed mouse, Hildegarde's shrew

  • ... that Hildegarde had a bat, a mouse and a shrew named in her honour?

5x expanded by Hanberke (talk) and Cwmhiraeth (talk). Nominated by Cwmhiraeth (talk) at 19:11, 4 October 2019 (UTC).

  • @Hanberke and Cwmhiraeth: I'm going to review this later. But first, we should probably specify in the hook that Hildegarde is the anthropologist Hildegarde Beatrice Hinde. epicgenius (talk) 22:13, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

@Epicgenius: Thank you for the reviews. I would prefer not to link her name and think the hook is more hooky without the link. I could not find out any more about her, and if people want to know who she is, they can click the link in any of the articles. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:37, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
@Cwmhiraeth: No problem. I actually didn't mean to include the link, but was too lazy to type her full name. Do you want ALT2 or the original? epicgenius (talk) 14:32, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT2 ... that Hildegarde Beatrice Hinde had a bat, a mouse and a shrew named in her honour?
Well, I prefer the original hook, which doesn't say who she is at all, but I am quite prepared to let the promoter decide. (There are masses of small African mammal stubs, and I chose the hook before I selected these articles to expand.) Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:16, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
All right. I don't think this is much of an issue, so all of the hooks are approved. epicgenius (talk) 23:07, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
  • Indeed, the original caught my eye for the quirky slot, so that's what I'm promoting. Yoninah (talk) 00:25, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
