  • [2 of 2] These two articles are new enough and long enough. the hook facts are mentioned in several of the sources and are cited inline. The articles are neutral and my inspection of the sources did not reveal any copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:50, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
  • - @Miyagawa, LavaBaron, and Cwmhiraeth: - I came to promote and did a spot check. So to my surprise with an experienced DYK nominator and TWO reviewers I still found a problem here. Nowhere in the articles does it support the fact that they were "the first in the world", I see support for "in Singapore", but that's not what the hook states. I checked all sources, read them closely and they do support that they have a star, that they were the first in the Singapore Guide, but that is as far as it goes. Shame this was not caught before approval, but at least it was caught before it was in a prep area.  MPJ-DK  14:17, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
The Daily Telegraph article states "Two modest food stalls in Singapore made history last week by becoming the first street vendors to be recognised by the prestigious Michelin Guide." I'm sorry to see you joining the naming and shaming business. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:23, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
I do not see that phrase in the source used by the hook, looking at the source you quote I do see that in there - but that was not the source used for the hook. I have had too many hooks bounced back when I was trying to put them in prep due to issue such as this, the fact that this had TWO reviews and neither caught the fact that the source supposedly used to cite the hook does not actually support it is disappointing. I pined the three of you to be aware of the issue, since it got by all of you - not trying to be an ass, trying to ensure the quality of the reviews are improved - if you don't know about mistakes then how do you learn from it? And better than putting the hook in and then have an admin pull it and post on the talk page wouldn't you agree?  MPJ-DK  17:49, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
I just checked, and that was the source used in the Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle article for the hook - but not the one in the Chicken article. That has now been rectified. Miyagawa (talk) 21:55, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
