  • The article is well sourced, but there are a few problems. It lacks dates. It would be great to know how long it took for the whole thing to unravel. When was the TV show first aired? Also, I have a question regarding some (possibly) POV wording, such as "The main strategy of the government..." According to whom? The opposition? The media?     • I have added the dates. The program was aired in November 9, the formal denounce was made on November 10, and the search and seizure was done 10 days later. As for the wording, "strategy" is just one way to word it, like any other else; I'm open to alternative wordings if there is a better one. It is completely obvious that the government is not making all those denounces from out of the blue, but as a response against this. The Wall Street Journal, La Nación (a newspaper of record from Argentina) and El País from Spain (see here, I have yet to incorporate this reference to the article), all understand it that way, and describe the conflict that way. Consider for instance the sanction against Bonadio. Yes, he's sanctioned for some unrelated case; but immediately after this whole thing. And even more, those who are not aligned with the government pointed that the complains against Bonadio have expired, that unrelated case is not a modern one. What does it mean? That they did not consider that case at its proper moment, either to accept or dismiss the charges against Bonadio, but left the case open, to "punish" Bonadio if something like this ever happened.   • This nomination suffers multiple issues, not the least of which is that it is never stated in the article nor in El Pais/La Politica that Kirchner herself is attempting to force the judge's impeachment. The closest the article comes is to say "As a result, the government attempts [sic] to force an impeachment of Bonadio", which is cited to a WSJ article behind a paywall which I cannot verify. It is very probable that Kirchner is personally behind the attempts to impeach him, but without a source explicitly stating as much, this hook is libelous. ALT 1: ... that Argentine president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner's government is trying to force the impeachment of the judge investigating her in the Hotesur scandal?
Although the article by Wall Street Journal is now archived, the intro is still there, and it says "A federal investigation into the personal business activities of Argentine President Cristina Kirchner has sparked a fierce dispute between the judiciary and government, which on Thursday called for the judge heading the probe to be impeached." I thought that saying "the president" and "the government of the president" is basically the same thing but more wordy. Cambalachero (talk) 15:05, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
  • No further concerns. Hook (ALT1), date, and length OK. Hook copyedited a little for clarity. However, the distinction is very important, especially under a democratic government like Argentina. While the situation seems to point towards President Kirchner being behind it, we can't be the ones to draw that conclusion. Astro interest (talk) 20:26, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
