  • ... that after Huang Zhiqian, chief designer of the Chinese fighter jet Shenyang J-8 (pictured), died in a plane crash in Egypt, his deputy Gu Songfen and other colleagues completed the project? Source: Global Security and Chinese sources cited in article

  • Hook is interesting and inline cited to Global Security. There has been some back-and-forth as to whether or not Global Security is RS, however, I have always been of the opinion it is. The article is NPOV, of correct length, and new enough, with no obvious signs of copyvio. A QPQ has been done. The image is correctly licensed. Chetsford (talk) 08:24, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
@Chetsford: Thanks for your review. From my limited experience with Global Security, it seems to be quite reliable, as its writings on the Chinese military usually agree with far more abundant reliable sources in Chinese. The article actually mainly relies on Chinese sources including the government-published History of Modern Chinese Aviation Industry. I've added Global Security simply because it's the only English source I can find. -Zanhe (talk) 19:54, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
