Hydnellum ferrugineum showing red exudate

  • It is a good article and was promoted 20 December. Both hooks above are sourced, but I'm not sure either does the article justice. The podzolisation source is not online. Podzolisation is interesting, but a bit obscure and the explanation given in the linked article could use some work. I'd probably avoid using that hook, since it ultimately probably distracts from the good article. The red droplets ALT hook could be polished a bit more. Let me read the article through and see if anything else jumps out. @Sasata: might want to weigh in, since having done the heavy lifting. Gaff (talk) 03:16, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
  • Yeah, definitely could be worded better, but mind's gone a bit blank.... Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 08:40, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
ALT2: ... that fruiting bodies of the mealy tooth fungus (pictured) sometimes exude blood-red drops of fluid? Gaff (talk) 01:58, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
