  • ... that in Hyprov, off-Broadway audience members perform improv after undergoing stage hypnosis? Source: Brunner, Raven (2022-08-22). The article notes: "Whose Line Is It Anyway performer Colin Mochrie and master hypnotist Asad Mecci's HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis opens at Off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre August 22, following previews August 12. The 12-week limited engagement will play through October 30. Directed by Stan Zimmerman (Gilmore Girls), the 100-minute interactive show combines hypnosis and improv. The experience begins with Mecci inviting 20 volunteers on stage to be hypnotized, and those most receptive will improvise the show with Mochrie."
