I, a Woman

[edit]

5x expanded by MichaelQSchmidt (talk). Self nominated at 20:09, 24 October 2014 (UTC).

  • Support and I offer the alt-blurb - ALT1: ... that Roger Ebert said the film I, a Woman exhibited "the maturity of a 13-year-old cranking the handle on the penny-peepshow at a county fair"? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 19:35, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
  • I don't think the first hook works because the two people links take us to articles in poor condition. The ALT1 is a good funny hook -- however, there may be better alternatives. I've expanded the article a bit to include some of the more significant facts about the film which might inspire other hooks, such as:
ALT2: ... that the popularity of the 1965 Danish-Swedish erotic film I, a Woman initiated a wave of sexploitation films into mainstream American theaters?
ALT3: ... that the popularity of the 1965 Scandinavian erotic film I, a Woman inspired Andy Warhol to make his experimental film I, a Man?

Interesting, on good sources. Please offer a source for the releases. I am used to the lead a summary (without refs) of the body. Make some of it body? I like ALT3 best, by far ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:13, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
@MichaelQSchmidt: This has been on hold for over three weeks now. Are there any (inline) citations available to cover the release section? Fuebaey (talk) 16:34, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
@Fuebaey: Okay... I've cited the many non-English release names. @Gerda Arendt: I have performed a few mods to the article under MOS:FILM... and I like ALT 3 also. Schmidt, Michael Q. 23:14, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Thank you, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:23, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
