- Is there a flaw in the current hook? By my count it's not too long (I count 179 characters, easily <200). I have a hunch that the computer analogy will actually be interesting to many readers (But perhaps you disagree?). I think having the full book title actually adds interest too, and will make the hook easier to notice on the page. So I guess what I'm saying is that I would find it easier make an alt if I understood what flaw you see in the original hook. - Here's a possible alt that is clearer that the metaphor comes from the computer world. By my count there are 188 chars (still OK):

- OK, how about the following? They are identical to each other, except 2b @192 chars has the word "computer" in case that is desirable.
