- Article is new enough, and satisfies the length criteria. QPQ required. Article states he is majoring in finance, but source says business. Source 3 quotes Jones himself stating he will be deployed to Romania; is there an independent source for this? Source 5 doesn't state Lauren Plawecki won the special election, only that she was the uncontested Democratic candidate. Hooks are short and cited. Not much to do to get this promoted. - Hmm. The Huff Po sources in the article (not currently attached to that sentence) say finance, not business. So not sure what to do with the conflicting Huff Po / Detroit News sources there. Plawecki was the uncontested Democratic candidate in a special election, which is how she served during the lame duck session of November-December. Not sure if there's independent confirmation of his trip to Romania, but there's no reason to doubt it either. I had a QPQ but used it on a different nom, will complete it for here too. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:19, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'll accept the Romanian deployment details per WP:BLPSELFPUB. Regarding Plawecki, I understand that was the result, but there was an uncontested Republican candidate too; there was no primary, but there was an election. Anyway, I found a source for you: Conyers, Plawecki, Green assume seats in Senate, House. Please add this to the article, then this can be promoted. Mindmatrix 15:49, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
