Jillian Lane

[edit]

Created by Bonkers The Clown (talk). Self nominated at 09:34, 20 October 2013 (UTC).

  • new enough and long enough; hook verified. Mackensen (talk) 20:31, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
Where is the article does it say Lane was MJ's "personal" psychic, please? The last paragraph of the Career section actually suggests that she is not -- maybe it was after MJ's death that she became a "celebrity psychic"? Please clarify and insert dates & footnotes as needed. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 11:59, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
  • Removed "personal"... I used that term based on a source's title. The source itself doesn't clarify when she became a "celebrity", so I think it's fine. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 12:05, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
  • Maybe "one of"? Can't tell who else MJ consulted when he called the medium hotline. --PFHLai (talk) 13:16, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that Welsh psychic Jillian Lane had a client list which included Michael Jackson? --PFHLai (talk) 13:33, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
Okay, reads good, I've changed "that" to "which" just because it's more pleasant to hear. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 13:29, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
  • ALT1 hook needs a new reviewer. (Note: "that" vs. "which" is a regional preference: American English generally uses "that", while British generally uses "which"; I'm not sure how the others fall out. Since Lane was Welsh, "which" is probably the best choice.) BlueMoonset (talk) 18:51, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough, long enough, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done. ALT1 hook ref verified and good to go. Yoninah (talk) 00:00, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Was promoted to main page, but removed after a brief time after Bonkers the Clown was indef-blocked, due to Bonkers' status and unspecified sourcing issues. Restoring to noms page for further review or discussion. --Orlady (talk) 19:41, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
  • I've reviewed the sourcing for the article and made some minor revisions. I don't see any reason why this shouldn't get to be featured on the main page for the full duration of a hook set. --Orlady (talk) 03:14, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
