Prose portion expanded about 8X in five days before DYK nomination. Was a brief stub (possibly just in user space in any event; so may be new in main space). Long enough. Within policy: neutral, no copyright violations or plagiarism. Hook is interesting, short enough, accurate, cites sources and neutral. QPQ done. The hook caught my eye and I reviewed this because I know it is difficult to ride without stirrups in any event; it must be quite an accomplishment for a paraOlympian. Inspiring story. One minor issue with the article: Footnote 11 appears to be a dead link. I could not connect with it in any event. Does not affect DYK. So I will say this is good to go to the queue or to be held for Paralympics. Donner60 (talk) 21:21, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
