Joe Eula[edit]

  • ... that fashion illustrator Joe Eula designed the stick-like figures on the cover of Miles Davis' 1960 album Sketches of Spain?
  • ALT1: ... that fashion illustrator Joe Eula once walked out of an Yves Saint Laurent couture show, shouting that it had been terrible?

Created by Webdrone (talk) and Alakzi (talk). Nominated by Alakzi (talk) at 23:36, 17 June 2015 (UTC).

  • Length, date of posting and hook references verified and found in order. No copy vio noted. I prefer ALT2 Hook. Please complete the QPQ, if you already have more than 5 DYKs to your credit--Nvvchar. 23:15, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. Afraid that I strongly prefer the first hook: it is sourced to a more trustworthy publication; and it honours and provides some insight into Joe's work. ALT1 is little more than linkbait, honestly, and I'm a little ashamed of having suggested it. No other DYKs to my credit. Alakzi (talk) 23:35, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
  • No problem. I liked ALT1 hook as it has punch. QPQ is not required as stated. Original hook is also approved. Good to go.--Nvvchar. 14:40, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
