  • This article is new enough and long enough. The image is in the public domain, the article is neutral and free from copyright problems as far as I can see. The proposed hook is rather uninspiring, I doubt whether many people have heard of the company he founded. What about something about him being a pioneer in the artificial silk industry? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:11, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

How about,

That would combine this with two other recent submissions, and avoid overloading the front page with articles on German rayon manufacture. Aymatth2 (talk) 00:16, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
I scratched ALT1 because the Vereinigte Glanzstoff-Fabriken nomination got approved and promoted. Maybe the simpler ALT2 below? Aymatth2 (talk) 14:47, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
ALT1 is satisfactory, and the only reason I am querying this is because you have bolded Max Fremery in the hook. That article would have qualified for DYK. Do you want to add it to the nomination for an additional credit? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:57, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
  • This nomination is ready to go with either the original hook or ALT1. @Aymatth2: I have approved the other article also. If you want to combine them in a single hook, I suggest you mention it on the DYK discussion page. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:40, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. The other article got promoted already, so ALT1 with Max Fremery unbolded is the choice. Aymatth2 (talk) 18:54, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
