John Steele House (Toquerville, Utah)[edit]

  • Reviewed: not required

Created by Kim Post (talk). Self-nominated at 17:23, 16 December 2018 (UTC).

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: None required.

Overall: Article is new enough, and long enough, seems neutral and has reliable sources (as a side note it would be a good idea to archive the sources using The Wayback Machine so that the references would still make sense if the links are dead). Earwig's Copyvio Detector stands at 33.3% but that is due to direct quotes in the article, so it seems to be free of copyright violations. Hook cited and interesting. My only comment would be perhaps altering "rare" to "unusual" and removing the contraction, such that the hook would be:

  • ALT1: ... that the John Steele House has an unusual floor plan, but does not show it?

No QPQ needed since this seems to be the user's first DYK nomination. Well done for the work on this interesting article! Xwejnusgozo (talk) 19:24, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

ALT1 does seem better. (This is actually my fourth DYK, though the third hasn't been on the main page yet.) Kim Post (talk) 21:38, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
