KATU (TV)

Improved to Good Article status by Sammi Brie (talk). Self-nominated at 00:30, 8 January 2024 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/KATU (TV); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - The KATU article and other coverage (which I highly encourage to be added to add some independent sources) suggest that the restoration was led by the Oregon Historical Society. The hook should be amended to reflect this.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Just need the hook to be corrected or amended. SounderBruce 00:56, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

@SounderBruce: Done in article. Hook should read: Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 06:57, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
The new version is a bit wordy. In fact, it might be better to drop the remaster bit entirely and focus on the whale event. SounderBruce 07:02, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
@SounderBruce: How about... Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 07:04, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
Or... Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 07:12, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
ALT2 is much better, though still a bit wordy. SounderBruce 07:15, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
