Kansas House Bill 2453[edit]

  • ... that Kansas House Bill 2453 has been characterized as "... a subtle effort to deprive same-sex couples of government benefits, by allowing bigoted government workers to simply refuse them service"?

  • The first hook is a swipe at the bill, but our readers will include some who wish the bill to pass, so I do not recommend the first hook. Plenty of online sources support the article and the second hook. I see no problems with too-close paraphrasing or copying. I deleted a fact-challenged sentence so that no maintenance templates would be present. The second hook and article are of the proper length, with good referencing.
  • I'm going to offer a copyedited version of ALT1, because I think "people" is not precise. Binksternet (talk) 23:07, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
  • ALT2:... that Kansas House Bill 2453 would allow service providers in Kansas to refuse service to same-sex couples under the purview of religious liberty?
