Kieth Engen[edit]

  • Reviewed: David Scott
  • Comment: He did many things well, - I trust wordsmiths will help to work on a hook, - this is more or less a placeholder

Created by LouisAlain (talk), Voceditenore (talk), and Kablammo (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 07:11, 4 June 2019 (UTC).

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. A QPQ has been done. Although I am approving this, I think the hook tries to stuff in too many facts and would suggest omitting the "voice of Christ" bit. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:17, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT2 misses the irony of Bluebeard and Christ, and the extra of the pop career on which Kablammo worked, - repeating: He did many things well, while the short proposal suggests that being tall was his only qualification. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:37, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Drop "my" voice of Christ then, and leave Voce's tall Bluebeard and Kablammo's pop. Will miss the Bluebeard-Christ antagonism, but may be the only one. I had the TFA today, and a GA, - should be content. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:58, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Really? The Franz Kafka article was your FC? Congratulations! I read it the last time it appeared on the MP and was very surprised that his friend disregarded his wishes to destroy everything. Yoninah (talk) 22:10, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
  • So we'll go with:
  • ALT4: ... that operatic bass Kieth Engen got his first role, Bluebeard, at the Bavarian State Opera because he was tall, and also had a pop career under a pseudonym?
  • Restoring tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 22:26, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
