Krejci Dump[edit]

The Krejci dump and salvage yard

Created/expanded by Runmikeyrun (talk). Nominated by Shearonink (talk) at 01:57, 9 February 2012 (UTC)

  • Article was created on February 5th, so it should be included there, not the 8th. I will move it and begin a review. Mgrē@sŏn 14:03, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
  • According to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, "The area was redesignated a national park by Congress on October 11, 2000". Since the dump property was acquired in the mid-1980s, the hook and History section should refer to 'National Recreation Area', rather than 'National Park'. Additionally, the Outcome section states, "As of 2012", but the reference cited was dated July 1, 2011, which does not support 2012. Not a big deal, but factually incorrect. Adjusted "As of 2012" to "According to the NPS, the Krejci dump site should be in the final stages of revegetation in the spring of 2012." Adjusted the lede, deleted an unsupported/POV statement in HIstory section. The History section refers to the name change in the first sentence as "at which time the National Park Service acquired the property as part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (formerly the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area)". (I suppose the phrasing could be changed in that one sentence?) The ALT 1 hook is just under/at the limit of 200 characters....

  • Article passes length, refs, no copyvio, dates. IMHO, ALT1 is too long; let's go with the original hook using Recreation Area.
